My Story
Mná & Mud Pottery is where clay meets a little bit of Irish mischief.
Hi, I'm Anna — an Irish-born, Perth-based ceramicist, and what started as a curiosity for clay quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. These days, I create pieces that are meant to be used, passed around, and talked about.
Every piece is hand-built by me, from bold grazing platters to the highly inappropriate Dirty Dishesand the slightly more well-behaved (but still gorgeous) Divine Dishes. Nothing is perfect—and that's exactly the point. I love that every piece has its own personality, just like the tables they eventually end up on.
In 2025, I took things a step further by creating Perth Pottery Pop-Up, transforming an empty retail space into a buzzing hub of local makers, clay, and creative chaos in the heart of the city. It brought people together over handmade work, good conversation, and a shared love of something a little different.
These days, Mná & Mud is about much more than just pottery. Alongside creating custom commissions, I run fun, relaxed hand-building pottery workshops where I get to share my love of clay, creativity, laughter, and connection with anyone who's keen to give it a go.
